§ 16-10. Restricting smoking and use of tobacco products in city parks.

(a)

As used in this section, "tobacco products" means cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco or snuff, cut tobacco, pipe tobacco, or any product containing tobacco.

(b)

A person shall not smoke or use tobacco products in any of the city parks in the City of Eaton Rapids.

(c)

Signs shall be posted in all of the parks stating that smoking is prohibited.

(d)

A person who violates this section is responsible for a municipal civil infraction, subject to payment of a civil fine set forth in section 2-132. Repeat offenses shall be subject to increased fines as set forth in section 2-132.
