§ 16-6. Vehicles prohibited in city parks or playgrounds; exception.

  • No motor-driven cycle or motor vehicle, as defined by Sections 1.016, 1.016(a), and 1.017, Uniform Traffic Code for Cities, Townships and Villages, promulgated by the commissioner of state police on February 26, 1958, as directed by Act 62 of the Public Acts of 1956, being Sections 257.951 to and including 257.954 of the Compiled Laws of 1948 as amended, and snowmobiles as defined by Public Act 74, Public Acts of 1968 as amended by Public Act 178, Public Acts of 1971, of the State of Michigan shall be driven or operated in the public parks or playgrounds within the city limits of the City of Eaton Rapids; except the operation on designated roadways and parking lots, and further, except the operation of emergency and maintenance vehicles.
