§ 17-17. Making noises prohibited.

(a)

No peddler shall shout or cry out his goods or merchandise, nor blow any horns, ring any bell or use any other similar device to attract the attention of the public.

(b)

A person who violates this section is responsible for a municipal civil infraction, subject to payment of a civil fine as set forth in section 2-132. Repeat offenses shall be subject to increased fines as set forth in section 2-132.
