§ 19-7. Removal of encroachments.

Illegal encroachments and obstructions in the streets may be removed and excavations refilled with the expense of the removal or refilling to be charged to the abutting land owner when made, permitted to be made or maintained by him. The procedure for collection of the expenses shall be as prescribed in section 18-45 of this Code.
