§ 19-26. Owners to maintain sidewalks.

(a)

No person shall permit any sidewalk within the city which adjoins property owned by him to fall into a state of disrepair or to be unsafe.

(b)

A person who violates this section is responsible for a municipal civil infraction, subject to payment of a civil fine as set forth in section 2-132. Repeat offenses shall be subject to increased fines as set forth in section 2-132.
