§ 2-8. City manager.

  • In compliance with section 6.8 of the city charter, the office of city manager is hereby created. The duties and functions of the city manager shall be those set forth in section 6.8(b) of the city charter, and any others the city council shall establish by resolution. The city manager shall be appointed by the city council, shall be vested with the administrative powers of the city granted by this section, and shall perform the duties of the office under authority of, and be accountable at all times to the city council.
