§ 8-3. Duties and powers of city council in respect to cemeteries.

The city council shall have the following powers and duties in respect to the management of the city cemeteries:
(a)

It shall, if necessary, cause the city cemeteries to be laid out in lots, drives and walks; the lots to be numbered, drives and walks to be named, and plats to be made.

(b)

It shall fix the price of lots and other services necessary thereto.

(c)

It shall see that this chapter and all rules and regulations in respect to cemeteries are strictly enforced.

(d)

It shall have the power to appoint a cemetery sexton.
