§ 22-49. Inspections authorized; failure to permit inspection.

The city council and duly authorized officials or employees of the city bearing proper credentials and identification shall be permitted to enter upon all properties for the purpose of inspection, observation, measurement, sampling and testing, in accordance with provisions of this article at any time during reasonable or usual business hours. Any person who refuses or obstructs such entry shall be responsible for a municipal civil infraction, subject to payment of a civil fine as set forth in section 2-132. Repeat offenses shall be subject to increased fines as set forth in section 2-132.
