§ 22-50. Notice to cease violation; failure to comply.

(a)

Any person found to be violating any provision of this article shall be served by the superintendent or his representative with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, take such corrective action as may be necessary.

(b)

Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in subsection (a) shall be responsible for a municipal civil infraction, subject to payment of a civil fine as set forth in section 2-132. Repeat offenses shall be subject to increased fines as set forth in section 2-132.
